ROBERT REFORD is Canada’s oldest ship agency,
and acts exclusively as vessel and port agents for ship owners and charterers with vessels entering Canada. With offices and representatives in Montreal, Halifax, Lake Ontario and Vancouver, the Company is well positioned to provide services at all major Canadian ports as well as U.S. ports on the Great Lakes.
The Company’s staff provide an unparalleled level of expertise and knowledge to their clients, and ensure that all regulatory, safety and customs requirements for a ship’s arrival and departure are carried out as efficiently as possible. The Company’s lengthy history as ship agents has allowed it to develop a vast network of contacts in Canada and around the world.
ROBERT REFORD plays a leading role in the Canadian shipping industry. Its management team is actively involved in a number of industry associations including the Laurentian Pilotage Authority and the Maritime Employers Association (MEA). The Company was also a founding member of the Shipping Federation of Canada in 1903, and has held a position on its executive board ever since so as to monitor activities from Coast to Coast in Canada
